Will you join us?The RoleXos is seeking a talented Vehicle Telematics Backend Software Engineer to join our Software team to work on our state of the art connectivity platform.
As a key part of our lean and agile software team, you will be involved in development, testing, and deployment of an embedded linux telematics application that is core to how our customers will interact with fleets of our vehicles.
You will have the opportunity to engage with XOS fleet management software and in-vehicle software to collaborate on design and features.
We’re looking for someone who’s looking to make an immediate impact by both developing technology and building our software team in one of the fastest growing companies in the mobility solutions industry.Responsibilities* Work on Xos connectivity platform software* Develop and test application software for Xos telematics and OTA platforms* Maintain and extend the interfaces between the Telematics Gateway Unit (TGU) and the rest of the vehicle network* Collaborate cross-functionally to define features and functionality that improve the customer experience and add value* Proactively seek out areas within the organization to apply technology to create greater effectiveness and efficienciesRequirements* B.S.
degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical degree.* 3+ years experience with C and C++* Good understanding of C/C++ build tools and cross platform development (cmake, scons, bitbake)* In-Vehicle communication via CAN and the associated protocols (J1939, UDS)* Experienced with embedded linux development (Yocto or AGL preferred)* Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative, and high-growth entrepreneurial environmentBenefits* Xos, Inc.
