This California-based company serves the various business sectors that use the Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles to ship and receive container cargo. They are seeking professional Company Drivers out of the Los Angeles/Long Beach/Redlands area.
OVERVIEW:
– Drivers transport general freight via container trailers for dedicated customers. Runs between ports, local rail yards and distribution centers/warehouses.
– General freight but some Hazmat or tanks available if driver wants/has endorsement(s).
– Loads requiring endorsements will pay a premium. No touch. Freight is mostly drop & hook, with occasional live load/unload.
– Currently hiring for night shift; Monday-Thursday 5:00 pm start, and Saturday 7:00 am start. Saturday is required). Night shift pays a Shift Differential (bonus for working nights). Will be hiring for day shift as well for a limited time. Day shift is Monday Friday 7:00 am (or earlier when needed) 4:30 or 5:00pm. Saturday is available for day shift drivers if hours are available. Drivers average 10-12 hours per shift. Paid port training if needed (after Covid-19 crisis).
