Cupcakes on board! Whether delivering red velvet batter, cream cheese frosting, freshly made ice cream, or Sprinkles apparel for retail sale, the Driver at Sprinkles is responsible for picking up and delivering goods from Bakery to Bakery, or businesses as needed. You should be an expert at time management to ensure our products arrive on time and intact to their destination. If you love the open road, have an eye for detail, and take pride in handling items with care, you will be perfect as a Sprinkles Driver.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a company advocate and embody the Sprinkles Culture.
- Retain and demonstrate proper policies and procedures delivered by trainers and managers with enthusiasm.
- Assist with loading/unloading of goods and transfer supplies from receiving area to their proper locations.
- Drive company vehicles to support the product of retail stores and other locations as needed.
- Keep the Sprinkles vehicle clean. Perform routine maintenance checks, field, and other upkeep as needed within Sprinkles expectations and guidelines provided.
- Maintain integrity in inventory management as you transfer items.
- Observe and abide by all company’s policy and safety regulations, as well as motor vehicle traffic regulations (rules of the road). No cell phones on duty, especially when driving.
- Report to work as scheduled and fulfill requirements for duration of shift.
Requirements:
- A passion and love of the Sprinkles product, brand, and experience.
- At least one year of experience in a delivery driver role.
- A clean driving record.
- Ability to work a changing schedule including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to communicate verbally and understand and follow written and verbal instructions from management.
- Proven ability to understand what it means to handle products with care.
- Can work well under pressure and maintain a consistent pace through the shift.
- Can lift at least 25 pounds. Stoop, bend, lift and carry products as needed.
