At Sprinkles, the Driver is responsible for picking up and delivering goods from Bakery to Bakery, or businesses as needed. This includes batter, frosting, ice cream or Sprinkles apparel for retail sale. This will be repetitive routes multiple times a day. You should be familiar with the area and assigned routes. You should be an expert at time management to ensure our products arrive on time and intact to their destination.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a company advocate and embody the Sprinkles Culture
- You will retain and demonstrate proper policies and procedures delivered by trainers and managers with enthusiasm.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods and transfer supplies from receiving area to their proper locations.
- Support kitchen production operations.
- Keep the Sprinkles vehicle clean.
- Take the Sprinkles vehicle for routine maintenance checks and other vehicle upkeep as needed within Sprinkles expectations and guidelines provided.
- Maintain integrity in inventory management as you transfer items.
- Observe and abide by all company’s policy and safety regulations, as well as motor vehicle traffic regulations (rules of the road). No cell phones on duty, especially when driving.
- Report to work as scheduled and fulfill requirements for duration of shift.
Requirements:
- Ability to work a changing schedule including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to communicate verbally as well as understand and follow written and verbal instructions from management.
- Proven ability to understand what it is to handle products with care.
- Can work well under pressure and maintain a consistent pace through the shift.
- Can lift at least 35 pounds. Stoop, bend, lift and carry product as needed.
