We are looking for part time and full-time professional line cooks and food truck drivers, someone who has great work ethics, a sense of urgency when needed, is on time to work and thrives well in a small team.
Our truck goes out to different events every week to sell our delicious freshly made vegan comfort food.
We participate in festivals, fairs, weekly food truck gatherings, and private catering.
You will be in the truck making orders in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
– Knowledge of menu and reading tickets
– Set up & stock your station
– Preparing food for service (chopping veggies, making sauces, etc)
– Ensure food comes out in timely and quality manner
– Perform cleaning and maintenance procedures as directed by executive chef
– Comply at all times with the company dress code and personal appearance standards
– Driving food truck to the various locations
Scheduling:
MUST BE AVAILABLE weekdays/nights and weekends, although exact times vary.
Typical days we work are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK THESE DAYS.
Minimum Requirements:
– A love for food and an eye for detail
– Experience as a Line Cook or Culinary preferred.
– Knowledge of weights, measurements, volume and cooking procedures.
– Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work in a confined area
– Have or obtain a Food Handlers license within 20 days of hire date
