A Duda & Sons, Inc., has immediate openings for Full Time hourly Equipment Operator/Tractor Drivers for its Lake Placid FL Sod Farm location.

The Equipment Operator/Tractor Driver may be responsible for hauling loaded pallets of sod out of the field on a forklift to the loading areas as assigned, spraying, mowing, etc.

Ability to operate multiple pieces of farm equipment is preferred.

Typical work hours are Monday
– Friday 6 am to 5 pm with some opportunities to work weekends, work hours may vary due to demand and weather conditions.

In addition, the Equipment Operator/Tractor Driver’s duties may include the following: Performing general labor tasks, light mechanics Conducting daily equipment inspection Changing implements for cultivating, and spraying Experience with GPS guided equipment or precision agriculture
– a plus Working Conditions: Work is mainly outdoors in farm fields, typically over un-even terrain.

Workers will be exposed to outdoor elements.
