Requirements:
Experience: 2 years of CDL driving experience preferred.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of computers.
Travel: Between multiple work locations will be required (within a few miles).
Job Description:
GTs Class A Drivers are responsible for driving tractor trailers in a safe manner in accordance with all Company policies and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include: Driving trailers to/from the loading docks and parking loaded or empty trailers in designated areas.
Locally transporting tractor trailers to offsite maintenance and/or inspection facilities.
Completing daily yard audits and logs, conducting inventory of equipment and regular inspections, fueling trailers and checking refrigeration temperatures as needed.
Communicates with internal and external customers to ensure that outbounds, transfers, and internal movements within the yard are transported in accordance with customer service practices and regulations.

Job Details:
Work Hours: Multiple shifts, Overtime as needed.
Work Attire: Use good judgement, keeping in mind the nature of their work, their own safety and the safety of others, and their need to interact with the public.
