How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?Our Driver Trainee will work with their assigned driver and route, loading and unloading cylinders from vehicles to assist in the completion of customer deliveries.
The Driver Trainee may also work within the warehouse, assisting with cylinder movement and loading and unloading vehicles including company owned and common carriers.
As a Driver Trainee, you will be eligible to apply for our CDL Scholarship program at 6 months of employment, and transfer into an available driver position upon completion of CDL school.
In particular, you will:Spot trucks and trailers within designated area on company property.Load and unload all assigned company vehicles daily between the plant and delivery location.Stage cylinders in designated areas of the production plant for filling and loading.
Assist production personnel in removing full cylinders from the fill area.Inspect all cylinders for general condition, reporting discrepancies to management.Support the driver to verify accuracy of the required documentation for moving and delivering loads.
Are you a MATCH?High School diploma or equivalent (preferred).Experience operating a forklift (preferred).Ability to work flexible hours to meet customers’ needs (required).Must be able to operate in a drug free workplace (required).
