Currently, we’re looking for a committed and reliable candidate for a Local Driver to help and support our logistical and warehouse distribution needs.
This position provides support to various departments within the company.
The successful candidate should be a motivated self-starter who is detail-oriented.
You have a clean driving record and having a CDL-A license is a PLUS (but not mandatory)Duties and Responsibilities Your primary responsibility with be to deliver our manufactured goods to clients across the Los Angeles Metro area.
Besides the delivery of services, you’ll be directly interacting and people-facing with our clients daily.
We expect a high level of customer service as having a great attitude while interacting with our clients is essential.
Daily duties will include:Plan routes to meet delivery schedulesMaintain truck is clean and in good conditionInspect truck daily for damage or maintenance problemsSupervise loading and unloading of cargo ff truck and ensure cargo is securedComplete documentation for mileage and cargo; keep track of mileage, fuel, and toll expenses; confirm inventory matches shipping documentsRefuel the vehicle and check or replace oil as neededReport any damages to product when unloading at other locationsReport any accidents directly to supervisorsFollow all safety rules, work instructions, policies, and proceduresFollow instruction regarding the use of chemical and supplies.
Use as directed QualificationsStrong knowledge of safety regulations, to be familiar with not just traffic laws but reules regarding how often they are required to rest, maximum miles drivenValid Driver’s LicenseAbility to communicate in English (Spanish is a plus)Clean Driving Record (we can discuss details) Compensation and BenefitsWe have a robust hourly pay and we offer standard benefits that include different Medical Plans, PTO, and other comprehensive benefits.
