Training Instructor (Bilingual – English & Korean)

Job Description: We are looking for a bilingual Employee Trainer to organize and conduct employee training for a diverse Korean and English-speaking workforce of Direct Care Professionals. Training is conducted online (webinars) and in-person at our office in Mission Hills, CA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Instruction and evaluation:

  • Instructor-lead Training to English and Korean-speaking employees (groups and individuals)
  • Conduct online and in-person trainings
  • Administer written proficiency tests
  • Plan and/or participate in developing training course objectives.
  • Obtain and modify training materials to meet needs and objectives
  • Evaluate training effectiveness based on feedback of participants and management

Training coordination and skill development:

  • Coordinate scheduling, training registration, and notification process.
  • Receive ongoing training and participate in needs assessment, course objective development, and evaluation of training courses.
  • Study and apply adult learning theory, group process and training methods to instruct adult groups and individuals.
  • Monitors progress and maintain accurate records and generate monthly detail reports to Training Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 5 years of training experience required
  • Bilingual: English and Korean
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively
  • PC Literate, familiarity with mobile applications
  • Familiarity with using Zoom and/or other video calling applications
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Understands organization culture and values.
