Job Description: We are looking for a bilingual Employee Trainer to organize and conduct employee training for a diverse Korean and English-speaking workforce of Direct Care Professionals. Training is conducted online (webinars) and in-person at our office in Mission Hills, CA.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Instruction and evaluation:
- Instructor-lead Training to English and Korean-speaking employees (groups and individuals)
- Conduct online and in-person trainings
- Administer written proficiency tests
- Plan and/or participate in developing training course objectives.
- Obtain and modify training materials to meet needs and objectives
- Evaluate training effectiveness based on feedback of participants and management
Training coordination and skill development:
- Coordinate scheduling, training registration, and notification process.
- Receive ongoing training and participate in needs assessment, course objective development, and evaluation of training courses.
- Study and apply adult learning theory, group process and training methods to instruct adult groups and individuals.
- Monitors progress and maintain accurate records and generate monthly detail reports to Training Supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 5 years of training experience required
- Bilingual: English and Korean
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively
- PC Literate, familiarity with mobile applications
- Familiarity with using Zoom and/or other video calling applications
- Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Understands organization culture and values.
