Avid4 Adventure is hiring Instructors for our summer resident camps in Colorado.

Instructors are the cornerstone of our team, providing support, mentorship, and instruction to our campers with enthusiasm and passion.

Instructors provide 24-hour care for our campers and act as their primary support while in cabin, on/off property, on expeditions, and more.

CORE Responsibilities Provide 24-hour support with guidance, supervision, safety and comfort for participants during all activities.

Lead an activity group of up to 13 campers through our outdoor adventure program featuring rock climbing, mountain biking, paddle sports, and more.

Guide an overnight experience, ranging from an 1-night overnight onsite to a 5-day backpacking trip.

Provide exceptional customer service to parents and all participants in our programs.

Job Requirements Minimum 18 years of age by the start of camp training.

Wilderness First Aid (WFA, WFR, EMT, or W-EMT) and CPR by the start of camp training.

1 years of experience working at a resident camp is preferred but not required (includes camp counselor experience) Valid drivers license is required for 21 years old staff.

All 21 years old staff will go through a 2-day 15-passenger van driving training during your first week of employment.

Important Details Staff training: Staff training begins in early June.

Camp Dates: early June
– early August.

Work Days: Resident camps are a 24/7 operation.

The resident camp leadership team will create a schedule that provides you with one evening off/week and segments of other time off throughout the week.

This position is required to live on the property.
