Science Teacher STAR Nova, a division of STAR Education, is hiring creative, dynamic, and talented enrichment Science Instructors to teach after school enrichment classes to elementary school-age students. Hours may vary ( Monday through Friday, between 2pm-5pm) $35 per hour Location: West Los Angeles/ Palisades/ San Fernando Valley / South Bay/ Hollywood GENERAL REQUIREMENTS Experience teaching K-5th Must commit to the 2021-2022 School Year Must have Reliable Transportation Must be punctual, reliable, enthusiastic, responsible, and flexible Dedicated to children with diverse backgrounds and academic levels JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Independently lead a group of 14 students from K-5th Attend Teacher Training where you will be trained in Classroom Management Instructors are expected to arrive on time and provide an educational, safe and enjoyable class experience for students Assist in all additional assigned tasks given by the Site Director How to Apply To apply, please submit a resume and cover letter letting us know about your teaching experience.
