We would love to meet and hire that perfect person with a heart for little onesMain Tasks and ActivitiesCheck children in and out of the facility with updated COVID-19 protocols.Take pictures of individual children daily and post on Brightwheel (will train).Create and maintain an exciting, safe, clean classroom environment for the students.Plan exciting, stimulating weekly or monthly curriculum that is age appropriate and focusses on an Inquiry-Based curriculum approach.Follow proper sanitation procedures at all times for both self and children.Take and oversee children to the bathrooms on a regular basis ?
clean and change clothes when necessary.Teach and oversee children with proper hand washing procedures.Engage children in activities both indoors and outdoors.Required Education:High School Graduate or EquivalentSome CollegeBachelor’s Degree Preferred12 Early Childhood Education College Units including:Child Growth & DevelopmentFamily, Child, and CommunityProgram Planning & CurriculumAdditional Units in a preschool age or toddler age specific electiveExperience:1-2 years working in a licensed preschoolPhysical RequirementsSpend time sitting.?Spend time standing and walking.Spend time making repetitive motions.Spend time kneeling, crawling, pushing, and pulling to assist children.Licensing & Accreditation Requirements:All employees working for A Child?s Place Learning Center are required to meet the following at all times:1.
LiveScan Fingerprint clearance and background check
– DOJ/FBI/Child Abuse Index (one time or upon re-hire)2.
Health Screening (one time or upon re-hire)3.
Proof of immunity to Measles or MMR Vaccination Record (one time)4.
Flu Vaccine each year between August 1st and December 1st (or sign a waiver)5.
TDAP Vaccine?6.
Current COVID-19 Vaccine (fully vaccinated preferred or weekly testing required)7.
