Job Overview:
Pay: $40 to $60 per hour.
Duties:
Introduce the toy of the day and provide a high-level overview of the engineering concepts involved.
Guide children through the toy-building and decorating process using provided instructions.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and guardians, and remain patient with children who require additional support.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment, ensuring that all materials and tools are properly stored and that children are following appropriate protocols.
Complete training to familiarize yourself with each toy before class begins.
Provide own transportation to the location.
Ideal Skills/Qualifications:
Experience working with elementary school-aged children in a classroom or informal setting.
Basic understanding of simple engineering principles or willingness to learn.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a group of children effectively.
Must pass a background check.
