Reporting to the Director of CSI, the CSI Associate Director/Lead Instructor will oversee the operations of the CSI Training section and will perform all responsibilities as Director in his absence.
Job Requirements:
PRINCIPAL DUTIES
- Manage the CSI Training Section to include scheduling and logistics of courses and events as well as providing training and education to a wide range of community groups. Coordinate, schedule and lead CSI and other training
- Identify, schedule and conduct CSI Site Visits/Vulnerability Assessments of Jewish institutions throughout catchment and provide security assessment reports.
- Conduct liaison with regional law enforcement and government agencies (SAR Reporting, LE Contacts List).
- Assist in the development and periodic update of CSI plans, programs and initiatives.
- Assist in the development of CSI safety and security training curricula.
- Ensure appropriate training certifications are completed by all CSI staff and maintain training folders (schedule annual training).
- Develop a schedule and stand duty as CSI Duty Analyst, taking incident reports and drafting CSI and One Voice Alerts.
- Conduct data entry into the Incident Intelligence Database (IID) and the CSI Database.
- Assist the team with the community outreach mission.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
Be available to supervisor for additional assignments, as required, including assisting with the Campaign.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR POSITION
- Minimum 10 years law enforcement, corporate, government or related homeland security experience. Security clearance a plus.
- Dynamic results-oriented individual with highest degree of personal integrity.
- Track record of success in handling people and problems.
- Blend of strategic, tactical and diplomatic acumen.
- Broad based knowledge of physical security standards, investigations, counter and anti-terrorism measures and mitigation and emergency management.
- Ability to develop curricula and track training programs.
- Comfortable instructing people of varied levels of experience and from various backgrounds on safety and security.
