ECHO Lecture Instructor – Remote | WFH

We are dedicated to providing exceptional instruction and mentorship to our students in the field of cardiovascular ultrasound. Our faculty members are integral in creating an enriching learning environment that nurtures student success. We are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Cardiovascular Ultrasound Faculty Member. Responsibilities: Curriculum Development: Craft and maintain up-to-date syllabi for both theoretical and practical courses, ensuring alignment with program objectives and industry standards. Instruction: Deliver engaging lectures, optimize instructional resources, and establish clear expectations for students. Hands-On Training: Provide comprehensive instructions and demonstrations on ergonomics, knobology, anatomy, and scanning techniques, utilizing current references and resources. Student Support: Offer guidance to students on protocols, procedures, and policies, and provide constructive feedback to aid in their academic growth. Lab Management: Maintain clean and organized labs, ensuring proper functioning of equipment, and promptly reporting any issues to the Program Director. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate academic and attendance records, submit grades promptly, and address academic concerns in accordance with institutional procedures. Professionalism: Model professionalism in dress, action, and communication, setting a positive example for students. Collaboration: Collaborate with fellow faculty members and departmental teams to enhance the overall learning experience for students. Continued Learning: Participate in faculty meetings, engage in professional development activities, and contribute to fostering an inclusive and diverse learning environment. Additional Responsibilities: Undertake any additional duties as assigned by the Campus Director, Director of Education, or Program Director. Qualifications: Minimum of four years of practical work experience in cardiovascular ultrasound. Possess relevant certifications such as American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Maintain active CPR/BLS certifications. Proficiency in ECG, Stress Echo, and Pedoff probe scanning procedures. Strong technical skills including proficiency in computer applications, internet research, and database management. Experience with learning management systems such as Canvas preferred. Experience in online, hybrid, remote, or blended teaching environments desirable. Physical Requirements / Working Conditions: Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods. Capability to independently move objects up to 25 lbs. Proficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity for operating office equipment. Adequate hearing and speaking abilities for effective communication.
