Dance Instructor
Duties/Responsibilities:
Provide a structured class teaching students in variety of dances such as a hip hop, ballet, tap, jazz, hula, break dancing, etc.
Create Lesson plans for each class as well as choreograph routines for performances and events.
Coordination of registration of participants
Assist in the responsibility for the success of the Dance program including: fundraising, special events, and marketing
Insure the safety of all participants at all times
Hours: Part-Time/Non-Exempt position. Must be available Monday to Friday 4 pm – 8 pm; Saturday 9 am – 1 pm; Sunday 11 am – 1 pm.
Wage: $15.00 per hour starting rate; benefits not applicable
Worksite: Anaheim Downtown Community Center or West Anaheim Youth Center, and Stanton Central Park.
Must be at least 16 years of age
Experience working with children (paid or volunteer) preferred, but not required
Be CPR/First Aid Certified within the first 30 days of employment and keep current for condition of continued employment.
