The primary role of the Western Regional Sales Specialist is to ensure that the strategic goals of the business are met through continuous contact and relationship building with West Coast film studios, television studios and other compatible industries with a need for creative lighting solutions. WE ARE LOOKING FOR A STRONG SALES INDIVIDUAL WITH FILM and TV INDUSTY contacts . The individual will be responsible for reaching out to new and current clients in order to engage and promote sales. Individual Responsibilities: Tasked with identifying sales opportunities within West Coast Territory; network through communications, programs and other sales/marketing activities. Identify sales leads with end users such as; lighting designers, consultants, set designers and coordinate sales efforts with City Theatrical’s dealers as appropriate. Communicate with dealers, lighting designers, consultants to discover potential new products Inside sales activities to include: cold calling, faxing and e-mailing. Responsible for managing the West Coast dealer network Providing sales training Providing product training Setting sales goals with each dealer and monitoring performance Outside sales activities to include: attending trade shows, visiting dealers, tv/film studios, end users and performing demos as needed/requested. Track weekly sales activities using company CRM system and updating opportunity pipeline. Identify and develop new markets and territories. Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities: Strong knowledge of the entertainment lighting industry, products, processes and people on a worldwide basis Educated within the arts such as: theatre, lighting design, and applicable technology. Ideally experience with DMX, Lighting Consoles, Moving Lights, LED fixtures, Lighting Networks, Wireless DMX and Lighting Accessories. Strong communication, interpersonal, problem solving and creative thinking skills. Strong attention to detail and demonstrated organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to maintain confidentiality at all levels. Ability to compare CTI product to competitor products. Ability to present a professional attitude and demeanor Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products Proficiency with graphics programs Ability to manage budget. Education and Personality: Bachelor’s degree Technical Theatre/Theatrical Lighting and 1 -2years of industry sales experience preferred. Great Team Player Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and demonstrated organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem solving and creative thinking skills. Ability to overcome competitive objections. Good computer aptitude / Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products and the ability to quickly learn ERP and CRM Systems.
