COMPANY Presents/Goldenvoice’s Global Partnerships team is seeking a smart, strategic, results-driven and collaborative individual for the position Vice President, Sales.
This person will be responsible for securing new business and maintaining relationships on both a regional and national level.
This person will have a passion for brand partnerships, live music and entertainment while being an innovative and forward-thinking leader.
Focused on the West Coast, this individual will work closely with Goldenvoice, LA’s #1 concert promoter and one of Fast Company’s “most innovative companies”, to drive revenue for the greatest music festivals such as Coachella, Stagecoach and Camp Flog Gnaw and iconic music venues all over California.
Goldenvoice’s purpose is to drive the most-high quality and innovative fan, artist and brand experiences, and this person will help spearhead that initiative both internally and externally.

The ability to effectively communicate and cultivate meaningful relationships at all levels of the organization, will be imperative in this role.
This member of the COMPANY Presents Global Partnerships team will continue to position COMPANY at the forefront of live entertainment, and effectively win business through outreach, RFPs and relationships.
Essential Functions:
Lead all facets of the sales and activation cycle including prospecting, customer assessment, analysis, strategies, best practices, ROI modeling, key industry research rollout, focus group information synthesis, competitive intelligence, marketing/sales proposals, and alignment to existing solutions.
Oversee the development of client proposal, sales and contract negotiations through to the close of new or renewed business.
Manage and develop complex-targeting sponsorship plans to address clients’ strategic objectives and meet the Company’s needs.
Create customized marketing programs for high priority clients.
Develop unique and innovative ways to capture consumer involvement.
Oversee the creation of sales plans which are scalable for local, regional and national programs.
Share revenue/profit building ideas and opportunities with other corporate teams and sales leaders and sale teams as required.
Direct the implementation of onsite at COMPANY Presents festivals and venues.
Coordinate the needs of high priority clients on site access during tour, shows and festivals Lead strategic planning sessions with all sales to uncover new opportunities.
Present business updates, new opportunities and industry-driven initiatives to the management team and sales leaders as required.
Execute effective corporate sales calls and presentations promoting our unique sales and marketing platforms in order to meet established sales objectives.
Research new and existing assets to understand consumer demographic.
Evaluate client product demographic to ensure proper asset placement and marketing plan execution.
Required Qualifications:
A minimum education level of: Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree (4-year) Years of related work experience: 10+ Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and cultivate relationships Demonstrated sales experience Expertise in identifying opportunities, developing strategies and negotiating creative solutions.
Exemplary problem-solving, communication and presentation skills.
Ability to synergize the efforts of individuals and teams to accomplish the goals of the company.
Knowledge of advertising and marketing concepts and initiatives Must be able to work flexible schedule, including long hours, nights, weekends and some holidays.
Knowledge of target demographics and client brands Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Word), and ability to learn required business systems Strong business acumen with demonstrated leadership abilities

Passion for music and live entertainment Master’s Degree in Business Administration Preferred
