Work with Executive Sales Management to develop sales solutions for our customers and to grow sales and margin for Company.
Manage the sales/account team.
- Create innovative programs and strategies for customers to differentiate Company in the marketplace.
- Participate in overall product strategy and conceptual program development.
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; project expected sales volume and profit for existing new products.
- Maintain national sales team results by coaching and motivating employees, planning, monitoring, appraising job results.
- Track sales team metrics, monitoring sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
- Participate in overall product strategy and conceptual program development.
- Identifying/monitoring market trends that affect sales, service and product development.
Management responsibilities include:
- Typically, manages through multiple managers. Provides leadership and management to one or more departments of Post-Acute that has system-wide accountability.
- Strategic, tactical and operational planning (12+ months) for the functions or department;
- Direct budgetary responsibility for one or more departments, functions or major projects/programs;
- Interprete and execute policies for departments/projects and develops;
- Recommend and implement new policies or modifications to exisiting policies;
- Hiring staff, recommending pay increases, performing performance reviews, training and development of staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreteing and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing.
Relevant Work Experience
- At least 10 years of sales experience to include at least 5 years’ experience in a leadership role.
Position requires travel up to 50% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
