Start your journey now!**Your Role and Responsibilities**As the **Technical Sales zSecurity Specialist** you will work with IBM sales teams to articulate the technical capabilities of IBM zSecurity software solutions as well as business value perspectives internally as well as to our clients.

The position requires atypical communication skills, such as the ability to present deep technical concepts to a variety of audiences, many of which may have limited technical background.

The position also involves negotiation skills such as responding to objection constructively as a fundamental step towards consensus.**If you have the following knowledge and experience we’d like to talk with you:**+ Proficiency with z/OS security (RACF, CA ACF2 and CA Top Secret)+ Proficiency with System z security concepts and best practices including the System Authorization Facility (SAF)+ Proficiency with System z/OS concepts, system exits and best practices+ z/OS sub-systems and their security integration, such as: CICS, DB2, IMS, USS and other IBM and ISV z/OS related software+ Proficiency with zSecure: Admin, Audit and Command Verifier+ Proficiency with IBM Multi Factor Authentication+ Programming: Assembler, COBOL, PL/I, REXX and Clists+ Effective communication with project team members as well as key executive stakeholders+ Managing and proactively escalating project issues, risks, and concerns+ Providing status reporting to internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis**For this Technical Sales Product Specialist position you can work from anywhere in the US as long as you are near an airport.
