Our client is a world leader in laboratory equipment and services, and has an opportunity for a Technical Sales Representative for its industry leading analytical instrumentation used in R&D laboratories.
This position will be covering San Diego to southern Los Angeles, CA area.
Responsibilities:
· The Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for direct sales of Density, Concentration and Viscosity analytical instrumentation products and services to customers in various industries like academia, food, beverage, plastics, oil & gas, etc.
· Primary responsibilities include both the effective management of existing customer accounts and the generation of new accounts.
Qualifications/Requirements:
· The successful candidate must have strong written and oral communication skills and be capable of communicating equally well with Ph.D.
level scientists and QC technicians.
· The selected candidate should possess a B.S.
degree in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering or similar technical field and experience in technical sales of analytical instrumentation.
· Overnight travel.
