SVP of Sales

nnThe Senior Vice President of Sales will lead and direct sales to exceed revenues and profitability of the Company.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : The Senior VP of Sales sells group business, uncovers and drives business prospect and oversees all sales activities, ensures that sales activities, individual accounts and group bookings are focused and coordinated with transient demand to yield the maximum revenue while acting as a Public Ambassador.

Responsibilities / Duties nn Analyze sales statistics against booked vs.

consumed business.

Actively sell and manage his/her key accounts and territory as #1 priority Manage and oversee all on premise and off-premise catering bookings Enhance the property ‘s community image and stay abreast of the competition, new developments and sales methods and techniques in the restaurant and catering industry to maximize sales and profitability.

Assist in the preparation of the budget and ensure the department operates within cost constraints, i.e.

direct selling costs, etc.

Ability to be continuously be aware of current and forecasted financial/business performance.

Control data, availability, and rate on guest events and function space.

The ability to establish maximum revenue based on marketing plan and overall objectives.

The ability to monitor and identify current and future business trends to ensure profitable sales in periods of low and high demand.

The ability to negotiate and achieve maximum revenue/profit potential while satisfying client’s needs.

The ability to assist in the development of the annual marketing plan.

The ability to ensure projects are executed for all market areas as stated in the sbe marketing plan with an emphasis on increasing sales and profitability.

The ability to review market analysis and determine client needs, occupancy potential, rates desired, etc.

The ability to supervise the installation of sales and marketing procedures and ensure company is in compliance with all company process, policy and procedures.

nn Requirements Education / Experience / Credentials Bachelor ‘s degree preferred.

Minimum of five (5) years ‘ relevant experience in field with working knowledge of marketing disciplines.
