SVP Growth & Strategy Cross Portfolio Sales

We are currently seeking a VP, Growth & Strategy focusing on cross portfolio selling for our largest prospects in North America to help us grow the Company Insights business. In this position, you will work collaboratively with our client service and practice area teams to develop NEW and long-lasting client relationships. This position will allow you to expand your network developing an expert level knowledge on how data and research can impact your clients. You will play an integral role taking our client-first approach to diagnose your clients’ broad research needs. We need a strategic, high-level hunter in this role that can sell at multiple levels of our clients’ organization.

KEY OUTCOMES

You will… 

  • Be accountable for all aspects of the sales process from prospecting to qualification to closing in order to generate new sales revenue of $4 MM across our Insights portfolio.  
  • Identify new business opportunities through your established network, analysis of marketplace data, and existing knowledge of the market research landscape. 
  • Use a consultative sales process and partner with client team leaders across Company’s Insights Practice to bring visibility around our research capabilities. 
  • Maintain a sales pipeline, forecast revenues, and provide regular activity reports to management. 
  • Create relationships with key contacts from a list of targeted prospects. 
  • Understand the competitive landscape and report back to the organization on points of differentiation. 

CAPABILITIES 

You need… 

  • 7+ years’ experience in selling market research, analytics, etc. to Insights, Advertising, and Marketing professionals. 
  • 5+ years of proven, successful, direct selling experience with multi-million-dollar new business/new logo quota attainment. 
  • Experience selling market research across various industries. 
  • Current client networking relationships/rolodex of contacts. 
  • Ability to interface directly with clients and travel at least 35%. 
  • Good presentation skills and ability to command a presence in the room with clients.
