Escalon Services is based in Palo Alto, California and has additional offices in New York, Norway, and India with 300+ employees.

About the position:

We are looking to add experienced sales representatives in the Los Angeles And New York area, targeting early state startup companies.

Our target market are early stage technology companies/startups where the executive team would rather focus their attention on developing their business, and no focus on time consuming processes like taxes, finance and accounting.

However, these target companies still need strong, solid financial statements for their owners and investors.

We are targeting the large entrepreneurial start-up market in the Los Angeles area to continue building our outsource business.

Qualifications:

– Well connected in the entrepreneurial and tech ecosystem in the Los Angeles area,

– Ability to network with entrepreneurs, founders and startup people at events and co-working locations.

– Ability to build quality relationships with key service providers and generate

– Ability to identify opportunities and close business.

– Great people skills, professional, mature, excellent phone presence, and an ability to articulate our value proposition quickly.

-Detailed knowledge of accounting and finance is not a requirement
– you don’t have to be the expert, you can bring in an expert CFO when you reach that point in the sales cycle, if needed.

– Prepare proposals and manage the sales pipeline updates.

Compensation:

Compensation will be comprised of a base salary along with commission.

Commissions will be a generous percentage of the first-year revenue from each client that signs up for our services.
