Senior Account Executive

Job Description While we are currently working remotely due to Covid 19 for the balance of 2021, we do plan to return to the office in 2022 in a hybrid mode. Therefore we will only be reviewing those candidates who can work in our West Los Angeles office. Summary: The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for managing a high-volume, production-heavy account. This includes being the day-to-day client contact and collaborating with the internal agency team to ensure that all work is on target and delivered on time. Primary responsibilities include managing quick turnaround digital assets (banners, tiles, etc.) and emails, day-to-day client contact and creative/production management, overall problem-solving associated with management, the development and implementation of successful campaigns Core Accountabilities: Manage expectations from the client and creative team to complete assignments and/or agreements within deadlines Review creative work to ensure that it meets the highest standard possible, and follow the creative brief or change order and is on-brand Assist the Group Account Director with a dynamic workload Familiarize with and maintain a current and broad knowledge of the client’s business and competition in order to direct and contribute to campaign planning and implementation; keep abreast of the client’s brands, products, and/or services in an ever-changing marketplace Review creative work for the supervised projects, and guide team to exceed client expectations Maintain a working knowledge of agency administrative policies and routines Actively participate in client service and satisfaction Highly organized and able to multitask projects at various stages Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and follow-through skills Complete assignments and/or agreements within deadlines Troubleshoot and problem-solve, as appropriate Mastery/Skills: Decision-making: Must possess the ability to use sound and logical judgment in solving problems and the ability to generate alternative solutions Experience working in a fast-paced agency environment, juggling multiple deliverables When on assigned projects, balance the needs of the client with agency needs Head off potential conflicts and problems Involve appropriate agency resources Initiative: Must be able to take action when on assigned projects without direction from others; anticipate and develop solutions to problems without the aid of others Take on assignments readily Self-motivated Offer unsolicited suggestions and ideas Spearhead projects Anticipate problems Maintain and continually improve personal knowledge base Possess a strong interest in advertising and a motivation to build career skills and knowledge Flexibility: Must be able to maintain constructive behavior in the face of adversity; manage stress and pressure in working through assigned tasks Change course of action, when appropriate or necessary Handle pressure and stress without sacrificing quality Maintain constructive, project-goal direction in face of unanticipated time constraints Oral and written communication: Have the ability to deliver clear, concise, and accurate messages to others through oral and written means; listen carefully to others Maintain clear channels of communication with all agency personnel Organize thoughts in a logical, clear, and concise manner Able to persuade, or “sell,” ideas to others Ability to think strategically and communicate sound strategic ideas, both in writing and in conversation Required Skills/Experience: B.S./B.A. degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field Three to five years of agency experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint Must have experience working on high-volume, fast-paced accounts Powered by JazzHR TvsSSczDcv
