TuneIn is seeking an experienced cross-platform digital salesperson with a proven track record developing new business and selling integrated advertising campaigns.
The ideal candidate should possess high-level agency, DSP, and client direct relationships to sell through large-scale digital and/or programmatic programs.
The Account Executive must be a self-starter that is able to work with clients to develop creative, compelling, and integrated advertising proposals that meet marketing objectives and sell the value of TuneIn.
The position requires a deep understanding of the digital ecosystem and a proven track record of exceeding revenue goals in an ever-changing media sales environment.
What You’ll Do
Work with leading brands to develop large-scale advertising programs focused on brands and agencies Own agency, DSP, and client relationships with a proven ability to penetrate target accounts Grow programmatic advertising revenues by creating, maintaining, and sustaining relationships with DSPs, direct clients, and agency trading desks Identify and prospect high-value partners whose ideal customer matches the TuneIn audience Prioritize target accounts to maximize sales.
Direct digital relationships are key Help shape TuneIn’s overarching offering by creatively packaging campaign elements into compelling campaigns Strategize new and exciting opportunities for advertisers across both custom and tactical campaigns Adapt strategies, tactics, and pitches based on a content offering that changes seasonally Excel in an entrepreneurial environment and consistently exceed sales targets Update, forecast, manage pipeline and track sales activity using Salesforce Negotiate with the agencies and buying teams Develop strategies and best practices to better monetize TuneIn’s inventory
What We Are Looking For
5+ years as an Account Executive working in digital advertising Existing and proven relationships with agencies and DSPs A deep understanding of the digital + programmatic landscape – opportunities, challenges, best practices Working knowledge of the direct digital space focused on Music, News, Sports, and/or Audio Somebody who is comfortable ideating and pitching fully integrated, digital facing campaigns that focus on tactical elements as well as custom content/executions Somebody who takes ownership: understands all elements and is hands-on with outgoing media plans, creative decks Understanding of brand’s KPIs from a digital standpoint and ability to navigate packaging across ad products across each part of the sales funnel Ability to build a pipeline and exceed revenue goals Somebody who enjoys problem-solving, creative thinking, and expectation management

– working to support other teams beyond the scope of their role if that is what it takes to close business Ability to analyze performance data and provide optimization recommendations to maximize campaigns Ability to build strategic presentations, and then dynamically present them to clients An understanding of Media Planning, Ad Tech, and the role of connected devices in the competitive digital landscape The role requires an enthusiastic and hardworking person who exudes passion for TuneIn’s unique platform and value proposition Experience working with relevant SSP partners such as Google Ad Manager, Magnite, Adswizz, Mopub (preferred) Working knowledge of 3rd party Measurement and Data partners (preferred)
