Sales Representative – California

< Div><Div> <Div><P> MGK has 100+ years’ of experience focusing on sustainable & environmentally conscious ways to protect families and crops from pests around the world, using our synthetic and certified organic, botanically based pesticide products.< /p><P>< B>General Description:< /b></p> <P>The California Sales Representative will manage the implementation of MGK’s sales and marketing strategy at the territory level.

The territory to be finalized covers California with a strategic focus on San Diego, Los Angles, and the San Francisco Bay area.

The position requires the skill set to aggressively sell MGK products in the marketplace by working directly with pest management professionals, distributors, and strategic market influencers in the structural pest control market.< /p><P>< B>Principal Responsibilities:< /b></p> <Ul><Li> Independent implementation of strategies and tactics aimed at growing sales and market share in defined territory.< /li><Li> Weekly goal of 15 planned customer engagements utilizing in person and virtual selling environment< /li><Li> Sales call planning at least 4 weeks out in Sales Force Calendar< /li><Li> Utilization of Salesforce to Manage and track territory strategy< /li><Li> Manage the MGK sales process with territory accounts to research, gain access to and present business fit proposals to gain agreement on initiatives, increase the use and/or support of MGK products within the accounts’ system.< /li><Li> Primary sales focus is implementation of the MGK Market Based Strategy< Ul><Li> Key Accounts and Tier II< /li><Li> Territory and zone development< /li><Li> New Accounts</li> <Li>Distribution locations and distributor salespeople< /li><Li> Key Market Influencers< /li></ul> </li><Li> Manage expenses within the assigned budget.< /li><Li> Maintain and manage the assigned MGK company vehicle.< /li><Li> Achieve sales goals and objectives.< /li><Li> Maintain and improve technology skills including computer, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.< /li><Li> Attend and participate in regional and national sales meetings.< /li><Li> Create internal and external presentations utilizing PowerPoint and other media.< /li><Li> Excellent time management and planning skills are required to maximize customer calls and minimize travel time.

Expect 50 – 60% overnight travel in this position.< /li></ul> <P><B> Qualifications:< /b></p> <Ul><Li> A college degree is preferred with a minimum of two to five years sales experience.< /li><Li> A proven record track record including selling skills combined with an enthusiasm for the selling process.< /li><Li> Has a business mindset.< /li><Li> Demonstrated skills at consultive selling, building and maintaining customer relationships for the long-term.< /li><Li> A highly motivated self-starter with excellent communication and presentation skills demonstrated planning and time management skills.< /li><Li> High proficiency in computer use, specifically Microsoft Office and Outlook.< /li></ul> <P> <B> Physical Demands and Work Environment (OFFICE Position)< /b></p> <P>The physical demands and work environment characteristics described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
