About the Role We are expanding our sales team and seeking a dedicated Sales Representative to cover the West Region, promoting our engaging, hands-on learning system. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about education and science. Ideal candidates should have a background in sales and teaching, specifically in Anatomy, Biology, or Science Education. Key Responsibilities Sales & Relationship Management: Manage and grow a portfolio of customers within a designated geographical area. Product Sales: Sell anatomical models, support materials, and educational training to K-12 and collegiate segments, as well as other target markets. Achievement: Meet and exceed sales quotas on a quarterly and yearly basis. Customer Engagement: Understand customer needs, discuss products/services, and identify additional sales opportunities. Travel: Travel overnight and occasionally on weekends for events within the territory or nationally (approx. 10-25% of the time). Marketing Support: Assist with marketing efforts such as exhibits, educational training, customer visits, and events. Event Coordination: Help coordinate travel and logistics for events. Software Utilization: Use various software applications to optimize efficiency and performance. Team Collaboration: Enjoy working in a small, mission-driven, team-oriented company. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. Experience: 3-5 years in sales, with a preference for experience selling to K-12 or collegiate customers in the Western US. 3-5 years of teaching experience, preferably in Anatomy or Biology. Skills: Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and CRM platforms. Travel: Ability to travel as required. Communication: Confidently speak to customers/prospects at all levels. Compliance: Understand and comply with all policies, procedures, and regulations. Motivation: Highly motivated, enthusiastic, sales-oriented, and driven to succeed. Organization: Strong organizational and time management skills. Ethics: Maintain the highest standard of business ethics. Screening: Ability to pass drug and alcohol screenings. Desired Qualities Experience: Recent experience in educational sales in the Western US. Foundation: Background in Science Education, specifically Gross Anatomy and/or Biology. Compensation & Benefits Pay: $50,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k), 401(k) matching, accrued PTO, and other competitive benefits typical of small private companies.
