Sales Representative

What you’ll do: The Sales Representative is required to grow top lines sales within a geographic territory focused on business-to-business accounts involving producers of products that require rigid packaging solutions.

As a sales professional you will have the opportunity to drive sales, grow your territory and contribute to the achievement of organizational strategic business goals. You will apply a wide variety of selling related skills and capabilities including planning and conducting effective sales calls, identifying and exceeding customer needs, recognizing sales opportunities, inventory systems knowledge, sales order management, as well as promotional selling and basic marketing skills.

Key to your success is the ability to identify, develop and retain new customers. As such proven exceptional solutions-based sales capabilities through excellence in understanding customer packaging needs and identifying best packaging solutions that effectively address customer needs and help build successful long-term business is critical for success in this position.

Professional Requirements: To help drive Saxco’s strategic direction the skills and qualifications required of the successful candidate are:

  • B.S./A. in business administration or related filed
  • 7+ years’ outside sales experience that demonstrate outstanding new business development performance results
  • Proven expert knowledge and skill in solutions-based sales at all staged the sales life-cycle
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Skilled in CRM systems and processes and demonstrated effectiveness utilizing CRM tools
  • Effective organization skills with ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
  • Proven negotiations skills with to successfully close on accounts
  • Ability to travel up to 50+% of the time within territory, including overnight stays
  • Packaging or related industry experience a plus
