Job Requirements and Qualifications
The Los Angeles Business Journal is interviewing for an experienced Advertising Sales Account Manager to join our company and build a career with us.
The right candidate is highly motivated, with a desire to join a culture dedicated to growth and achievement.
In addition to increasing business with established accounts within an existing book of business, they must be eager to meet with prospective clients and agencies in order to close new business.
We’re looking for individuals with a minimum of 3-5 years of media sales experience.
Experience working with professional service firms is preferred.
Specifically, they will be responsible for maintaining and growing an industry-specific client base to hit sales targets, prospecting new advertisers, meeting with agencies and business executives to make sales presentations, writing sales proposals, account management of clients and networking at various business events. This position works with some of the most sophisticated financial institutions in the country.
Salary
This position oversees an established book of clientele and offers a guaranteed base of commissions while you grow your territory along with an aggressive percentage for new business.
The benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, time off and 401k.
