Sales Representative

MINX is looking for a sales representative to come on board!

You are fully conscious of the fact that flexibility, logical thinking and the ability to adapt to new situations are essentials for winning the game.

Our Sales Reps are responsible to drive, implement and follow through on sales and marketing initiatives for the full line of MINX products offered in an assigned geographic area within a defined account base.

They should be well versed in the lifestyle/fashion categories of the athletic and apparel industry, as well as be prepared to be brand ambassadors, culturally connected to the retailers and the consumers that carry, and will carry the MINX product.
Build a solid distribution base within the territory by finding dealers/institutions that will sell adidas products based on service and product, not price.

Build relationships with institutions, athletes, coaches and athletic directors in the territory.

Reach annual sales goals and manage promotional budgets.

Make recommendations on local advertising activity and where applicable invest with accounts into local advertising programs Be the on the ground MINX representative for any approaches on marketing partnerships and opportunities and route through the Los Angeles Area
SKILLS:
Must possess the ability and lifestyle community connectivity to credibly sell the MINX apparel line.

Must have strong communication skills with internal and external clients.

This includes the ability to write and speak clearly and succinctly in a variety of settings and styles, and understand the appropriate time to use e-mail and/or telephone or a combination of both.

Strong ability to organize and plan.

Including the use of effective time management skills, prioritizing and maximizing off “road time” to complete deadlines.

Needs to have an effective system in place to manage office tasks.

Ability to calculate and understand discounts, proportions, percentages and ratios.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

The ability to travel frequently via car Bachelor’s degree (B.

A.) from four-year college or university and a minimum one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Merchandising and Sales experience is preferred.
