Sales Management Trainee (Sales and Related)

USTCi is looking for an entry-level Sales and Marketing Manager to lead a team of field marketing associates in California. If you have outside sales or field marketing experience and are ready to progress into your first management role apply today!

This is a full-time position where you will spend part of your time training and managing your team and part of your time in your assigned territory, building relationships with property managers and leasing agents.

Job Requirements:

What will the Field Marketing Manager do?

You will join USTCi in promoting and selling home delivery services of bottled water and other beverages through programs such as ReadyRefresh®.  

  • You will spend about 60% of your time in the field building relationships with property managers and leasing agents, gathering leads and engaging customers at on-site events.

You will also be responsible for training and managing a regional team of Marketing Associates.

  • In conjunction with HR, plan the hiring and training of new associates in your region.
  • Direct marketing activity across the region.
  • Develop associates through coaching activities including weekly team sales calls and individual ride-alongs or three-way calls.
  • Monitor your team’s sales performance, set objectives and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Ensure your team’s compliance with all processes and procedures as defined by USTCi and ReadyRefresh.
  • Act in a professional and ethical manner at all times, leading your team by example.

Competitive pay comprising base of $17 per hour (paid weekly) plus monthly bonuses based on the sales generated by your team – the better the team performs, the more you make! 

  • Expected earnings $38k – $53k (depending on performance).

What will the Field Marketing Manager need?

  • You must be self-motivated and self-managed!
  • Have flexibility to work traditional and/or non-traditional hours (evenings and weekends).
  • Ability to interact comfortably with people in a variety of venues.
  • Must be outgoing, friendly and can communicate clearly with confidence and enthusiasm.
  • Have a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance and reliable transportation.
  • Must have cell phone.
  • Computer skills including MS Excel and Internet Explorer; CRM experience a plus.
