The Internship program will include sales and special events duties.
Projects may include, but are not limited to: Contact corporate accounts, groups, and special event patrons selling discount ticket packages for the MN Renaissance Festival & Feast of Fantasy.
Prepare contracts, process reservations and bill customers for ticket orders and events.
Answer inquiries and conduct tours with potential wedding couples.
Assist in wedding planning.
Assist in day of event management.
Assist in coordinating services for events; such as catering, tickets, and outside vendors.
Maintain records of events and ticket packages.
Assist with social media.
Experience and Education: Experience in hospitality, customer service and event planning a plus.
Recent college graduate or current college student.
Hours: 40 hours per week May
– end of August.
Must be available to work some weekends during the Renaissance Festival August 20 -October 2.
Additional evenings and weekend hours as required for events and other duties as necessary May
– August.
Additional hours are available in September and October for candidates who have graduated.
