Sales Engineer (Power, Thermal & Battery)

As we continue to expand and excel, we’re on the lookout for a seasoned Sales Engineer (specializing in Power, Thermal & Battery) to oversee the thriving Los Angeles/Arizona territory.

About the Role:

In this pivotal role, you’ll spearhead the growth of power, thermal, and battery sales within the region. Your responsibilities will encompass nurturing existing client relationships, as well as forging new ones to drive forward opportunities in power supply, thermal management, and battery technologies. We’re seeking a professional with unwavering ethics, exceptional follow-through, and a robust technical acumen to join our ranks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide customers seamlessly from the design phase to production, securing new business for power, thermal, and battery solutions.
  • Collaborate with our internal team to provide supplementary qualification support for all relevant products.
  • Assist the local sales force in crafting and pursuing strategies for power, thermal, battery, and application engineering offerings.
  • Keep clients and colleagues abreast of the latest products and technological advancements.
  • Champion Sager Custom Solutions and its suppliers by securing power supply and battery design wins.
  • Foster relationships with local rep groups, manufacturers, and regional sales teams to amplify our market presence.
  • Track market trends and customer interactions meticulously through our opportunity tracking system.
  • Participate in technical training sessions hosted by our suppliers and service centers.
  • Contribute to the formulation of sales growth plans for assigned customers.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • Hands-on experience in design engineering is preferred.
  • A minimum of two years’ successful track record in promoting and selling power, thermal, and/or battery products.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong presentation skills coupled with a knack for listening and providing tailored solutions.
