Sales Engineer

The Media Technology team is a global group of professionals who specialize in gathering and documenting client media localization requirements of some of the largest entertainment brands in the world.

Our proprietary platform, MediaNEXT was designed from the ground up and uses AI and machine learning to transform the media localization workflow. You will be learning about how we use AI and neural machine translation to differentiate ourselves. You will be part of a dynamic group of people within the organization that are transforming an industry, that is going through major disruption of its own, as it evolves into a digital world.

As a Media Technology Engineer, you will be at the heart of understanding technology and processes, automation, workflow design, and have an input in the future of technology for media localization. You will be closely engaged with our MediaNEXT platform, and a key part in helping to steer its constant evolution through gathering and documenting real-life client requirements and digesting industry feedback.

Description:

  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with clients, tech partners, sales staff and production and development colleagues worldwide
  • Oversee all aspects of project/task coordination from hand-off through to project/task completion
  • Participate in calls, discovery meetings, and/or on-site as and when required (may involve travel).
  • Produce content for RFPs, Solution proposals and other technical documentation o Produce PPT slides for pitches, conferences, and sales/marketing
  • Support wider team with MediaNEXT questions
  • Create project plans and effectively manage projects which may involve tracking delivery schedules, ensuring proper quality assurance, and managing changes in work scope
  • Provide consultative and guidance roles for Enterprise Solution Team with regard to MediaNEXT for new opportunities.
  • Support product management with the development of tools and integration projects
  • Gather client requirements and help prioritize MediaNEXT feature requests
  • Test/Analyze results of implemented processes, including automation, scripts and NMT
  • Demo technology and processes to clients/opps/internal staff 
  • Responsible for the execution of litigation support projects

About You:

Your experience includes:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or university
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and Effective time management skills 
  • Experience in Media and Entertainment
  • Knowledge of media storage systems such as MAMs and technical workflow
  • Understanding of databases, structured content such as XML, TTML, JSON and API’s
