Sales Development Representative

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for inside sales lead generation.

The SDR is tasked with sourcing sales leads that support and enhance ABS Digital Solution business.

In order to ensure success, the SDR will use multiple methods of sourcing and partner with the various business development team members and leaders to accomplish broader goals.

The SDR will provide input to marketing and operations on go-to market plans, improving customer interaction/satisfaction, expanding to new markets, and for improving financial performance.

Job Duties/Roles Contact prospective customers to introduce software and Software as a service (SaaS) products, explain product features, and schedule client meetings for Account Executives (AE).

Select appropriate AE to recommend products and services to customers, based on customers’ needs and interests.

Convince others to buy products or to otherwise change their minds or actions.

Communicating with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers, the public, government, and other external sources.

This information can be exchanged in person, in writing, social media, or by telephone or e-mail.

Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintaining them over time.

Observing, receiving, researching, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.

Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
