Summary
Feedonomics, the leading data feed management company for eCommerce, is looking for a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to take our lead pipeline and customer experience to the next level. This role is responsible for identifying and generating sales opportunities through both inbound lead management and outbound activities with a focus on engaging and qualifying all prospective customers. As one of the first touchpoints for prospects, this role has the opportunity to set the tone for the sales cycle and the entire customer journey that follows.
The ideal SDR is highly self-motivated, works well under pressure, is comfortable initiating relaxed but informative phone calls with prospects, and understands how to assess a company’s needs to tailor communications to each prospect accordingly. We are looking for a highly collaborative individual that can contribute to both the sales and marketing teams, and work proactively to drive overall sales performance.
In this role, you’ll report directly to our Sales Development Manager and work closely with both Sales and Marketing leadership to consistently improve our messaging and processes and continuously fuel company growth.
Responsibilities
- Engage, qualify, and respond to inbound leads in a timely manner
- Manage and respond to all inbound sales and related inquiries
- Execute outbound sales activities including email, cold call, and social media outreach
- Develop opportunities for the sales team from prospecting and marketing-generated leads
- Consistently achieve qualified opportunity goals to ensure territory revenue objectives
- Develop and execute on a strong prospecting plan of attack, including email and call scripts
- Follow-up on inbound marketing leads and identify qualified opportunities providing appropriate levels of information at the right time for interested prospects
- Be responsible for educating and developing prospects leading to hand-off to sales teams
- Schedule sales meetings and demos for the Feedonomics sales team
- Create target prospects lists and penetrate key accounts
- Cold call prospects generated by a variety of outside sources
- Identify key players, researching and obtaining business requirements, and present solutions to begin the sales cycle
- Providing in-depth information to the Sales team to enable the most qualified and productive demos
Education and Training
- Four-year post-secondary education/Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of progressively responsible marketing, inside sales, or business development related sales experience (preferred)
- Proven track record demonstrating strong articulation of product selling points via phone and email
- Ability to assist in coordinating sales functions including prospecting and leads research
- Sales process and marketing background knowledge is highly preferred
- Positive attitude and demonstrated ability to deal with rejection
- Strong oral and written communication skills along with excellent listening skills
- High attention to detail is a must
- Ability to develop rapport, influence others and maintain strong working relationships
- Demonstrated ability to explain complex issues clearly
- Must be self-motivated, persistent, and able to work independently while in a remote work setting

- Knowledge of the eCommerce B2B landscape
- Experience working at an eCommerce, online marketplace, or digital advertising company
