In Abbott’s ELECTROPHYSIOLOGY & HEART FAILURE division, we’re advancing the treatment of heart and vascular disease through breakthrough medical technologies in EP/HF, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.WHAT YOU’LL DOWe are recruiting for a Sales Compensation Analyst to join our team in the Austin, TX location.

In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing sales compensation plans.

You will be compiling and consolidating data from multiple systems and data bases, analyzing for variances and trends, support audits, and working on other ad-hoc projects.Responsibilities: Provides sales compensation analysis and leads several annual compensation processes.

Responsible for monthly publication of sales awards rankings.

Take a lead role in audit projects.

Assists with various analytical projects and design and ongoing management of sales incentive plans.

Provides analytics, tools and recommendations to enable management to maximize the ROI of the compensation investment.

Develop and implement regular reporting, analysis and recommendations.

Reviews current and predicts future sales compensation trends to assist the organization to make prudent decisions.

Build financial models to evaluate plan scenarios and help forecast the cost of incentive compensation programs and plan designs.

Participate in cross-functional team discussions that drive the sales compensation design process: collaborate with the Sales management, HR and Finance throughout all phases of plan design and deployment.

Possesses and exercises strong relational database management and organizational skills.

Identifies and routinely uses the most effective, cost efficient and best practices to execute processes; continually evaluates their effectiveness and appropriateness.

Assists in designing incentive plan and developing analytical models and recommendations for various compensation programs.

Responsible for creating statistical costing models to help with annual plan design options.

Key interface with IT and Commissions teams for business requirements for sales compensation plans.

Creates annual plan documents, calculators and other sales compensation documents.

Manage special projects and perform other duties as required.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRINGRequired Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration, Human Resources, and/or a related discipline 3 years of experience working in Compensation, Finance, Sales Operations, and/or Sales performing data analysis, consolidations and/or variance analysis Demonstrated ability to comprehend and apply sound mathematical reasoning and analysis.

Previous experience handling sensitive/confidential information Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate to all levels of the organization and to articulate results/findings based on audience Advanced proficiency with Excel and Access, including the ability to interface data with new or existing software and/or applications and prepare routine ad-hoc reports using data mining tools.

Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.Preferred Advanced level degree in Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration, Human Resources, and/or a related discipline 2 years of sales compensation experience Previous experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit modelWHAT WE OFFERAt Abbott, you can have a good job that can grow into a great career.
