Kinney Custom Signs operates in the… sign industry! Signs? Have you ever thought about signs as an industry? Don’t feel bad if you haven’t. Our founder thought the business broker was taking about astrological signs when he first proposed a ‘sign industry’ venture. BUT…
SIGNS
- They are everywhere!
- Street signs, road signs, highway signs, illuminated signs, building branding, dimensional signs, wayfinding signs, wall, window and vehicle graphics, decals, banners… and any form of display you can imagine = UNLIMITED SALES OPPORTUNITIES
- New businesses (that need signs) are born every day!
- Signs are updated constantly.
- Signs are a relationship business.
- Deliver quality projects… (we don’t focus on signs actually; we focus on sign projects but more about that later in the process) …and create an annuity for yourself as your clients buy from you on a regular basis.
This is an entry level sales position that does not even require any cold calling, but we do require a minimum of two years of proven sales success. We also operate on a very systematic basis. Profitability in the sign industry is 100% a function of efficiency. And the earning potential of our sales associates is only limited by time. Thus, efficiency is our cardinal goal in all aspects of our operations. And we’d like to train you to start building your book of business as efficiently as possible.

The sign industry is not rocket science but… since if it can be done, we can do it (we used to say if you can imagine it…, but that got a bit out of hand as you might imagine), there’s a lot to learn…
We can have the right person up and running within a week by teaching you the basics… and put you in a position to choose a career path within our company (or the sign industry in general) by the end of your first month.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND DUTIES:
- Revenue Generation
- Respond to all inquiries expeditiously
- Oversee projects from beginning to end
- Ensure Client Satisfaction
- BE the inhouse client advocate
