The Hospital Account Specialist (Institutional Director) is responsible for effectively and efficiently building and maintaining strong relationships and driving education and awareness on Sabizabulin for COVID-19 under a potential Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) to healthcare providers (HCPS) in health systems including IDNs (integrated delivery networks), teaching institutions, community hospitals, and important clinics. Deliver appropriate and approved information and relevant messaging to target accounts for Sabizabulin for COVID-19 under EUA (emergency use authorization) Achieve call activity targets as set by the company Demonstrate deep marketplace, therapeutic, product and disease expertise based on thorough understanding of rigorous scientific principles and data, including mechanism of action, indications, efficacy, safety, etc. Understand and apply knowledge of healthcare industry, trends, applicable laws and regulations, market conditions, and the market access environment (including but not limited to pharmacy-economics, payer/ reimbursement landscape and patient flow/influence between institutions and community practices) and analyze these factors in the development of business plans and in daily execution of sales calls within compliance guidelines. Establish, maintain, and develop strong relationships with customers in IDNs, teaching institutions, community hospitals and appropriate clinics. Demonstrate advanced ability to ask strategic, insightful questions to obtain information on customer needs from all stakeholders in accounts, using the insights to position current promoted brands and collaborate with customers on a customized strategy. Complete administrative duties as required What do you need for this position? Bachelor’s Degree required 5+ years medical/clinical selling experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology field Hospital experience is required IDN account experience is preferred Previous experience in virology, immunology, oncology, and rare disease is preferred Execute and maintain contracted relationships with key accounts and customers (institutions, hospitals, IDN, clinics, etc.). Strong understanding of the integrated delivery network system (IDN), P&T committees, formulary and guidelines is required Proven track record that demonstrates top sales accomplishments. Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate technical clinical material clearly and effectively. Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare system processes including payer access, reimbursement, and pharmacy/supply chain flow. Ability to handle large geographies, multiple stakeholders and adjust and flex quickly and seamlessly to address target customers concerns and objections Ability to do extra projects for leadership and marketing via conference calls and meetings Able to handle fast pace and high volume of face-to-face interaction Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills Strong Business acumen and analytical skills Ability to work successfully within a team environment. Strong work ethic and ability to develop priorities and manage time appropriately COVID-19 Vaccination required.
