Position SummaryThe Regional Sales Leader (RSL) reports to the Director, Sales – Interiors, and is based out of a home office. The Regional Sales Leader (RSL) leads and develops a sales team of 6-8 Account Executives. The RSL will be responsible for growing the business, meeting or exceeding sales objectives for the company’s sales performance. The RSL shapes the focus of sales efforts in his/her geographical territory in coordination with Key Account Managers for Lowe’s, Home Depot and the Pro Channel. The RSL must manage the product supply and distribution for the region to accommodate the needs of the dealer, builder and R&R contractor networks for each segment. Building and maintaining these relationships is crucial to the success of the RSM.Essential Duties And Responsibilities• Select, coach and develop Account Executives• Conduct employee and team engagement activities• Call on RMMs, RVPs, RPMs: Business Reviews/Relationship Meetings• Monitor volume and share data• Visibility & participation in bid room activity• Call on Regional/Area Sales Managers: Business Review/Relationship Meetings• Own relationships with 80/20 distribution players• Drive national builder agreement alignment• Manage relationships at key branches• Manage contracts/agreements with key regional accounts• Engage with Account Exec in large dealer conversion• Engage with Account Exec in large contractor conversions• Engage/Account Manage top 5 Volume Contractors in market• Manage program approvals/renewals• Review contractor performance & game plan accordingly• Manage SG&A spend to goalSkills & Qualifications• Bachelor’s Degree (in Sales and/or Marketing preferred)• 4 or more years in sales management, leading and developing sales people• Have or quickly develop intimate knowledge of the JH Interiors business• Entrepreneurial• Proven track record of success, significant value creation – deliver a result• Demonstrated cross functional collaboration and organizational effectiveness• Have or quickly develop excellent understanding of JH segment strategies, products, goals and objectives• Ability to travel +/-50%
