As a member of our CDB sales organization, you’ll have the opportunity to elevate one of the most comprehensive, innovative and exciting portfolios of digital technologies and capabilities in the market.

We serve the following industry domains: Banking & Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Technology, Communications, Information, Media & Entertainment, Retail, Consumer Products, Manufacturing & Logistics, and Travel & Hospitality. 

The CDB team is a high performing organization that is continually expanding our client base and increasingly being recommended by analysts such as Forrester and Gartner. As a Pursuit Lead, you play an important role in accelerating CDB’s growth by leading large, strategic and integrated proposals as part of a dynamic, cross-functional sales team.

Primary responsibilities of this role include creating thoughtful and compelling proposals that identify what our clients need and how we’ll specifically and uniquely address those needs with our solution.

Role and Responsibilities:
Work with a wide range of domain experts and client management teams to create winning proposals for large, strategic RFPs and proactive deal pursuits Lead the development of high quality and consistent sales templates, tools, and materials for the sales organization to leverage across deal pursuits Demonstrate consultative sales techniques, technology solution knowledge and industry expertise to influence client decisions Continuously grow skills and knowledge in consultative sales, technical solutions and industry trends, applying expertise to demonstrate CDB’s thought leadership Contribute to research, design and writing of articles/whitepapers/analyst briefings and participate as a team member in solution development Engage internal and external stakeholders to drive alignment and consensus on CDB solutions Help strengthen client’s confidence in Cognizant and Cognizant’s ability to deliver.

Basic Qualifications:Currently pursuing MBA from top tier U.S.

Business School.

Degree must be completed prior to joining. 
GPA 3.0 and above Overall pre-MBA work experience of 3 to 6 years Fluent English and local language skills (as required for international positions) Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills Willingness to travel Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Desired Skills:
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, and manage multiple task assignments Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment Solid Microsoft PowerPoint skills are required Strong work ethic with a commitment to client service excellence Ability to work as part of a cross-cultural team including flexibility to support multiple time zones when necessary Ability to develop client relationships Strong project management, presentation, and facilitation skills Well-developed communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills Domain expertise in one of more of the following industries: Banking & Financial Services, Insurance, Life Sciences, Retail, Consumer Products, Travel & Hospitality.

Location: 

Metro New York/New Jersey, Boston, Dallas, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Atlanta, Washington, DC, Minneapolis, Seattle, amongst others depending on practice area.
