Overview The Senior Account Executive
– I role requires management of a large book of business, more than 5 years of experience in an Account Executive role, and advanced designations.

The Senior Account Executive will provide a high level of sales support to internal team members and customer service to clients.

The position requires a significant degree of independent judgment and discretion in order to meet those service levels.

Duties include assisting in selling, direct selling, marketing, and customer service in coordination with other Agency personnel.

The Senior Account Executive has superior product knowledge and is familiar with the specific products offered by the Agency’s carriers.

The Senior Account Executive will assist in the production of new and renewal accounts in keeping with Agency and individual Producer goals and provide field service in support of Producer activities.

The Senior Account Executive is responsible for assisting clients with service needs and making changes to existing accounts.

The Senior Account Executive will work with the Producer to design and recommend proper insurance and risk management programs to Agency clients.

Meets directly with clients.

Negotiates and sells lines of insurance to clients.

Designs insurance and risk management plans for clients as assigned and directed by Agency management.

Provides clients with full exposure analysis and reviews methods of handling risks.

Works with the producer to write new business accounts.

Sells in place of or in coordination with superior personnel Leads accounts through the renewal process per department procedures.

Assists in the development of strong personal relationships with appropriate insurance carrier personnel.

Processes or oversees process of change-request/endorsements, binders, certificates, account summaries, proposals, policies, lost policy releases, audits, and account balance status as needed.

Handles prompt review of all premium audits recognizing that the Agency must process audits timely.

Process and follows up on all requests involving carriers or clients to ensure accurate and timely resolution Other duties as assigned.

Travel is expected to be 50% in this role.

Qualifications Advanced degree from college or technical school; a combination of education and experience (8 years minimum) will be considered.

Property and Casualty License.

10 years of experience in commercial property and casualty insurance with 3 years of experience of independently managing a book at an insurance agency Tech savvy; ability to navigate multiple systems including Agency Management Software; Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products Professional designations preferred Grow, with us AssuredPartners is passionate about fueling our clients’ innovation and growth.
