Description
The MedZed Patient Engagement Representative possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor.
The ideal candidate is comfortable making cold calls and talking to new people.
They have a tenacity to handle rejection and uphold a positive attitude when reaching out to the next potential lead.
This individual is passionate about educating potential patients who could benefit from our free service, paid by the patients health plan, to individuals that have complex and social needs.
They are proactive in understanding companys services and its position in the industry.
The PER is highly effective in establishing trust and can quickly form a relational foundation during the initial phone call.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can generate the growth of our House Call 2.0 program through the enrollment of referred leads.
Responsibilities
Learn and follow the MedZed engagement process from initiation to close Engage in active listening with patients, confirming or clarifying information Work with management to react to ever-changing needs relating to the schedule, provider unavailability, and urgent visit needs Manage time efficiently Ask pertinent questions to understand the patients requirements Read from appropriate scripts based on patient objections Maintain and utilize database (Salesforce, CRM, Excel, etc.) of prospective patient information Achieve a daily calling goal of 60+ cold calls to referred leads Increase the active patient panel by scheduling 4 new appointments per day Follow up on scheduled appointments that did not complete or were cancelled Partner with the clinical team to engage patients Persuade the patients to enroll by demonstrating how our services meet their needs Call patients to confirm, make, cancel, and reschedule visits as necessary Understand and strive to meet or exceed departmental metrics while providing excellent customer service
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact Self-motivated, persistent, and results-oriented 1-2 years of experience as telemarketer or similar sales/customer service role 1-2 years of successfully meeting sales quotas preferably over the phone Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM/Salesforce experience preferred
