We are looking for energetic and committed team members to join our Wheeling, WV Branch What Hunter Truck offers: Competitive hourly rate Paid training Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits including Zero Cost medical plan option Pet Insurance Tuition reimbursement 401(k) retirement with a discretionary contribution Paid Holidays Paid time off Internal referral program Employment Information: Status: Full-time Shift/ Schedule: 8:00am – 5:00pm Location: Wheeling, WV SUMMARY The Parts Outside Sales Associate is responsible for soliciting parts business from assigned accounts and from prospecting new accounts through personal and phone contacts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following.

Other duties may be assigned.

Visits assigned customers on a regular (weekly, biweekly) basis.

Prospects for new customers Process parts orders and advise customers on whether the status is “in stock” or “emergency” based on their needs.

Checks with customers to ensure that the delivery date of non-stock items is acceptable before ordering and advises all internal people involved.

Obtains the Parts Manager‘s approval for any special pricing or special circumstances required by the customer.

Follows up on parts orders to ensure that customers are properly served.

Coordinates with both the service department and truck sales Turns in completed call reports, time sheets, and expense reports on a weekly basis.

Advise the parts manager if the vehicle needs repairs and maintenance.

Contribute no less than 15% of sales in their territory on a monthly basis.

Help manage and coordinate deliveries within their sales territory.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university preferred but not required One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required Strong interpersonal skills are necessary as well as strong customer service skills and basic truck knowledge.

Must be fluent in Microsoft Office Applications and the Internet; must be able to type.

Successful candidate will have high energy and a self-driven personality with attention to detail.

Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company insurability standards.

Must be able to drive across county and state lines.

Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications preferred Medium/Heavy Truck Parts Specialist Certification preferred All candidate offers are subject to pre-employment drug testing and background screening.
