Partner Sales Leader (Remote opportunity – US West Coast)

We build relationships and insights to maximize product value through the full scope of our global platform.Partner with the bestAs a PAE, you will work in partnership with client and account executives to sell Akamai services.

Working across multiple verticals and segments, youll create and execute a business plan for success.

You will work on pipeline development, business development, strategic selling, marketing, enablement and new product development.As a Partner Account Executive, you will be responsible for:Establishing relationships with regional partner teams through account mapping, lead distribution, lead generation and sales enablement activities in the Western US and Canada region (territory to be defined)Creating alignment with partners and Akamais customer acquisition teamsCreating and managing a sales pipeline with forecast accuracy to prospective customers in collaboration with your partnersBecoming a subject matter expert on Akamai propositions and products to effectively identify potential partnershipsCollaborating with cross-functional teams of sales engineers to ensure successful consultative engagements with prospects and customersDo what you loveTo be successful in this role you will:Have 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelors degree or its equivalentHave ability travel to partner meetings and events as neededHave proven successful sales track record and quota achievement in indirect sales rolesHave a proven ability to find new customers by leveraging partner relationshipsHave outside Security Sales experience, preferably in support of System Integrators, consulting firms, or Cloud Service ProvidersPossess excellent negotiation, solution-selling, presentation, verbal and written skillsWork in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
