Ron Herman is an iconic luxury clothing boutique located on Melrose Ave. We also have a store in Brentwood and a store in Malibu. Since 1976, our Melrose location has been a premier location for shopping, dining, and celebrity clientele.
We are now hiring outgoing and dynamic individuals, with exceptional sales and customer service skills for our flagship location on Melrose. This position is designed for someone who is goal oriented, with an eye for fashion and styling. Someone who knows their lines, fabrics, and fits. A working client book and a veteran in retail sales preferred.
About the Role:
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Drive sales, achieve individual goals
- Demonstrate excellent product knowledge
- Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise
- Uphold department standards and keep the store looking great
- Replenish store supplies as needed (such as shopping bags, receipt paper, etc.)
- Assist with floor moves and merchandise placement as instructed by the division manager
- Maintain cleanliness in the department and ensure safety for our customers and employees
- Actively watch customers and merchandise to minimize LP
- Share feedback, ideas and insights with the management team
Our Expectation:
- Two years minimum experience in luxury apparel retail
- Familiarity with local LA market and fashion industry overall
- A friendly, helpful, and all around positive demeanor
- Client focused – create lasting friendships with repeat customers
- Reliable and punctual attendance with open availability
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Confidence in your personal style and ability to style clients
- Ability to stand for an entire shift (8 hours) and be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
We offer competitive compensation (hourly plus significant commission-up to 8%)! Compensation determined by experience.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
COVID-19 considerations:
- We are currently operating with reduced hours, requiring all personnel and customers to wear face coverings at all times, isolating clothing that has been tried on for 48 hours, cleaning common areas and restrooms multiple times a day, and more.
