The Company

The Petstaurant is a pet retail store that provides nutritional services.

We make our own line of cooked and raw food at our production kitchen and is brought to our stores daily.

We also sell dry food, canned food and treats.

The perfect candidate is someone who loves to see returning customers and provide exceptional customer service.

We do a lot of inventory recounting and send products throughout all three of our stores, someone who loves to stay organized is greatly appreciated!

We have a very flexible calendar and have a great work-life balance.

Job Summary

Opening and closing The Petstaurant and providing customer service.

You will be in charge of the register and be accountable for sales.

Duties include restocking, inventory, cleaning, and organizing the store.

General Accountabilities

Opening the store which includes sanitizing, making sure the drawer equals $300, turning on the lights/air, restocking, cleaning, and putting food away.
Cashier duties include tallying up customer sales and charging them, making sure the register is accurate in sales by appropriately handing customers the correct change and charging the correct items, giving customers with the discount card their appropriate discount.
Helping the owner with his consultations by gathering the items they need and explaining their protocol to the consultations.
Helping customers gather their items and answer any questions they have.
Inventory duties include breaking down the pallet and entering the items into Vend appropriately.

You will make sure to recount all the items one by one when entering them into the computer.

You will then put the items away in the bin by writing down the brand/size/flavor/for cat or dog/quantity or expiration date depending on the item.
Restocking
Cleaning
Organizing
Closing the store by counting the drawer and making sure the end-of-the-day sales are accurate.

Restocking, cleaning, turning off the lights/air, making sure all the freezer doors are closed including the probiotic fridge and smaller freezer, updating the Google Doc including what food/items should be delivered the next day, and finally locking the doors.
Updating the Google Drive Documents as needed and include expiration dates and food lists.
Helping all Petstaurant locations as needed which include computer work and inventory tasks.
These responsibilities may change or more may be added in the future.

– $17.00 per hour
